For this project I needed to redesign an existing book cover while maintaining its core theme and appeal, in this case it was the first of the Magic Tree House Books, Dinosaurs Before Dark. I explored typography, layout, and imagery combinations while learning cover design fundamentals for the first time, with the outcome being that I created a visually updated cover that better communicates the story’s tone.
